Description

Each corner of the calendar illustrates psalms prayed at Mass, connecting the artwork to the liturgy we celebrate throughout the year.

At the center, the opening words of Psalm 96 appear in Hebrew: “Sing to the Lord a new song.” Around them are King David, crowned and playing the harp, and Jesus of Nazareth, wearing the traditional garments of Jewish prayer. Together they show how the psalms Jesus himself prayed link us to their enduring wisdom, and point to him as the Messiah the prophets promised, who brings a kingdom of perfect justice, love, and peace.

Covers the full liturgical year: The calendar wheel begins with the First Sunday of Advent, November 29, 2026, and ends with the last Saturday of the liturgical year, November 27, 2027.

A meaningful piece for a church entrance, classroom, parish office, or home prayer space.
